Primary text
The judge has the right to reprimand and shout at a litigant if they behave evasively. If the litigant deserves reprimand (ta'zir), the judge may administer disciplinary action such as corporal punishment or imprisonment as deemed appropriate. If a litigant falsely accuses the judge of judging unjustly or accepting a bribe, the judge has the authority to discipline that person, though he also has the right to forgive.
