Primary text

If the condition of the judge changes, such as through moral transgression (fisq), loss of sanity, an illness preventing him from judging, or the invalidation of one of the prerequisites for judgeship, he is dismissed unanimously. In such a case, it is incumbent upon the Imam to dismiss him without dispute.
