What options does the judge have if the claimant knows the case requires evidence?

If the claimant is aware that evidence is required, the judge has discretion to either ask, 'Do you have evidence?' or remain silent. If the judge asks and the claimant states that the evidence is present, the judge must not command them to produce it, as managing one's right is up to the claimant.
