Does the principle of avoiding nullification due to changed Ijtihad apply equally to matters of ritual worship, such as prayer direction (Qibla)?

The analogy between overturning a judgment based on changed Ijtihad and repeating a prayer based on a changed Qibla direction is invalid due to three distinctions. First, establishing the Qibla can be excused under conditions of necessity, fear, or enemy threat, whereas abandoning established truth for known falsehood is not permissible. Second, prayer is a right of God, allowing for greater leniency. Third, the confusion regarding the Qibla can recur repeatedly, making repeated action necessary, whereas once a legal error is rectified, the specific doubt does not typically recur.
