What is the ruling if a defendant raises a counterclaim against the claimant?

If the defendant raises a claim against the claimant, judgment is passed between them immediately. Precedence is only observed for the initial claim, not for the status of being a defendant. Similarly, if the second party to arrive claims against the first claimant or the first defendant, judgment is passed between them.
