If the claimed item is currency, three things must be specified: the denomination (jins), the type (naw'), and the quantity (qadr). The claimant must say, for example, 'ten Basran dinars.' If the currency involves sound coins (sihah) and clipped coins (muksara), the claimant must specify whether they are sound or clipped.
