What is the ruling when a husband says to his wife, 'You are divorced, and you owe me a thousand'? (when no consideration is agreed upon)

Primary text
If a husband states, 'You are divorced, and you owe me a thousand,' a revocable divorce (talqa raj'iyyah) takes place, and nothing is due from the wife. This is because the amount specified was not made consideration for the divorce, nor was it stipulated as a condition of the divorce. Instead, it was connected to the divorce pronouncement, similar to saying, 'You are divorced, and you must perform Hajj.' If the wife offers compensation for that stated debt later, the husband has no right to the compensation because nothing was exchanged for it, and it would be considered a new gift requiring the stipulations of a gift.
