Primary text

The lessor is obligated to provide whatever equipment is customarily used to prepare the riding animal for the rider. For a camel, this includes the Hadaajah (a type of riding saddle), the Qatab (a frame for the saddle), the reins used to lead the camel, and the nose ring (Burrah) if customary among them. For a horse, the bridle and saddle are incumbent. For a mule or donkey, the saddle blanket (Bardha'ah) and the saddle pad (Ikaaf) are required. This is based on established custom (Urf), as the general rental agreement implies the custom.
