Is the full rent owed if the lessee terminates the contract prematurely by choice?

The obligation for the full rent remains if the lessee dissolves the lease before its term expires and voluntarily abandons the use of the benefit. The contract is not voided, and the rent remains mandatory for the lessee, similar to a sale where possession has been taken but the item is subsequently abandoned. Imam Ahmad confirmed that if a contract is dissolved, the due compensation is not waived.
