Primary text
There are two narrations regarding the fuller's liability if the garment perishes in the hands of the mistaken recipient. One narration holds that the fuller is liable because they retained the garment without the owner's permission after the owner requested it back, making it similar to the case where the fuller had knowledge of the error. The second narration states that the fuller is not liable because they were unable to return the garment, resembling a situation where they were incapacitated from returning it due to illness.
