When is a hired worker discharged from the obligation of work when the work is performed on the object while it is in the worker's possession?

Primary text
The worker is not discharged from the obligation of the work until the finished object is delivered to the hirer. Similarly, the wage is not due until the work is fully completed and delivered. This applies when the work is performed in the worker's premises, such as a dyer working in his shop or a tailor in his stall. This ruling is analogous to a sale of food, where the seller is not discharged from the obligation until delivery to the buyer.
