Is it permissible to rent oxen for plowing?

Renting oxen for plowing is permissible because oxen were created for plowing. The Prophet, peace be upon him, stated that an ox said it was created for plowing, not for riding. This is agreed upon (Muttafaq 'alayh). This contract requires two conditions: knowledge of the land and the specification of the work.
