Is it permissible to rent the right to draw water from a well for a specific duration?

It is permissible to rent a well for the right to draw water from it for specified days. This permissibility is established because the air within the well and its depth involve a benefit derived from the passage of the bucket, and regarding the water itself, it is taken based on the principle of general permissibility (Ibahah). Ibn Aqil mentions this ruling.
