Is a lease contract for land valid?

Primary text
The lease contract (*ijara*) for land is valid based on prior established principles. However, the contract is not valid unless the lessee views the land because the usufruct (benefit) differs depending on the land, and this cannot be quantified by description alone. Furthermore, the contract is invalid unless the purpose for which the land is being leased—such as for cultivation, planting, or building—is specified, because the land is suitable for all these uses, and the effect on the land differs for each, necessitating specification.
