Who is responsible for emptying the water drain (*jiyah*) of the bathhouse at the end of the lease?

The ruling regarding emptying the bathhouse water drain, which serves as its sewage outlet, is the same as the ruling for the house cesspit. If the lease expires and there is refuse or trash left by the occupant, the occupant is responsible for its removal. This view is held by Al-Shafi'i, Abu Dawud, and the proponents of opinion (*Ashab al-Ra'y*).
