The lessor is responsible for lifting the Mahmal, securing it onto the camel, securing and unloading the baggage. This responsibility stems from established custom (Urf) as these actions are necessary for the rider to effectively utilize the rented animal. Furthermore, the lessor is responsible for providing the guide (Daliil) and the driver/herder (Sa'iq) if the rental agreement stipulates that the lessor's representative accompanies the lessee.
