Primary text
If a person allows their stud animal to breed another's animal without a prior rental contract or condition, and the owner is subsequently given a gift or honorarium for this service, there is no objection to accepting it. This is permissible because the owner performed an act of favor (ma'ruf), and it is permissible to compensate for a favor, analogous to accepting a reciprocal gift.
