Renting land that has a permanent water source is valid for both planting trees and cultivation without any known dispute. Permanent water sources include water from a river that customarily does not cease flowing, water that only stops for a period too short to affect cultivation, water from a flowing spring, water collected in a reservoir from rain used for irrigation, water from a well sufficient for needs, or land where water is reached by the roots due to the soil's dampness and proximity of underground water. Land whose irrigation depends solely on customary rainfall is also included, as this is considered usual practice.
