Primary text

The specialized employee (Ajir Khass), such as a tailor working in a shop for a fixed period, is not liable if he damages an item entrusted to him (like tearing a garment given for stitching). This immunity exists because the specialized employee is held to the standards of a trustee, not a guarantor, unless specific stipulations dictate otherwise. The primary employer, the owner of the shop who contracted for the work, remains liable to the owner of the garment.
