If they dispute the measure of food, it reverts to the measure of food given in expiation (kaffarah), which Ahmad interpreted as one Mudd per day. For clothing, it reverts to the minimum garment suitable for one of their status. The employer cannot provide food other than what aligns with the required measure, as providing an incompatible food causes harm and prevents the fulfillment of the obligation.
