Liability for damages (*daman*) is obligatory upon a minor (*sabi*) and an insane person (*majnun*) for property belonging to others that they destroy without permission or unjustly seize, where the property is subsequently destroyed while in their possession. This is analogous to the ruling concerning a foolish person (*safih*).
