What is the ruling if a slave borrowed from two individuals is used as collateral for a total debt, and half the debt is paid?

Primary text
If a slave borrowed from two individuals is used as collateral for a single debt sum (e.g., one hundred), and half the debt is paid such that the share of one lender is intended to be released, this partial release is not effective. This is because the slave was collateralized for the entire debt in one transaction, and therefore, only a portion of it cannot be released by paying only a portion of the debt, analogous to the case where the slave belongs entirely to one owner.
