Is the original finder (Multeqit) liable for loss of the found object if it is lost without his negligence?

The original finder has no liability (guarantee) if the found object (Luqatah) is lost without his negligence (tafrit). This is because the item is held as a trust (amanah) in his possession, similar to a deposit (wadi'ah).
