What is the ruling on collecting stray inanimate property that preserves itself, such as large objects?

Primary text
Inanimate property that preserves itself, such as millstones, large pieces of wood, and copper cooking pots, are subject to the prohibition of collection, similar to camels, or even more strictly. This is because camels are generally subject to loss through predators, starvation, or thirst, whereas these inanimate objects are unlikely to stray far from their owner or move from their location, unlike animals.
