What is the ruling if a pearl, ambergris, or coins are found inside an animal purchased by the finder?
General Chapter

Book of Lost-and-Found Property
Primary text
If a sheep is purchased and a pearl, ambergris, or dirhams/dinars are found inside its stomach, this property is considered lost property that must be announced. The announcement must commence by notifying the seller first because it is plausible that the animal ingested the item while it was in the seller's possession, similar to finding hidden money in a purchased house.
