The maintenance provided for a pregnant woman due to the pregnancy does not lapse with the passage of time, similar to her maintenance during the husband's lifetime. Even if one concedes that this maintenance belongs to the fetus itself, it is specifically allocated to the mother for the fetus's sake, and her right to it does not extinguish over time, just as her personal maintenance does not.
