Primary text
The maternal grandfather's maternal aunts (aunts of the mother's mother) have no claim to guardianship. This is because they derive their relation through the maternal grandfather, who is a man belonging to the category of distant kindred (dhawi al-arham), who hold no right to guardianship, nor does anyone who derives their connection through them.
