Is an oath required when the wife's statement is accepted regarding a financial dispute with the husband?

For every case where the statement of one party is accepted over the other in these disputes concerning financial rights, the opposing party must take an oath. This is because these are claims regarding property, akin to debt claims. Evidence supporting this obligation is found in the Prophet's tradition stating, 'The oath is upon the one being accused' (Al-Yamin 'ala al-mudda'a 'alayhi).
