What quantity of milk may be taken from a nursing animal?

Only the milk surplus beyond what is sufficient for the animal's offspring may be taken. This is because providing for the offspring is an obligation upon the owner, and the mother's milk is created for the offspring, thus resembling the offspring of a female slave.
