The revocable divorcee is entitled to both residence and maintenance, based on the Quranic verse, the prophetic hadith, and scholarly consensus (ijma'). This is because she remains a wife to whom the husband's pronouncements of divorce, default (dhihar), and oath of abstinence (iila') apply.
