What is the ruling on maintenance if a wife enters the state of Ihram for voluntary Hajj with the husband's permission?

If she enters the state of Ihram for voluntary Hajj with his permission, the Qadi stated she has maintenance. However, the sound opinion is that her maintenance is voided because her Ihram prevents him from access, placing her in the same category as one traveling for her own needs.
