If the wife travels with permission for her own needs, her maintenance is voided because she prevented the husband from fulfilling his right to access her for her own purpose and her need's completion, resembling a situation where she refused access before consummation for a period she stipulated.

If the husband travels with her and is able to enjoy conjugal relations, her maintenance does not cease because she has not prevented access, resembling a non-traveling wife.
