Maintenance is voided if her travel is for non-obligatory trade, voluntary pilgrimage (Hajj al-Tatwuw), or visiting, as this is considered akin to traveling for her own need. If she enters the state of Ihram for voluntary Hajj without his permission, her maintenance is voided because she is in the capacity of a traveler.
