How is the draw conducted when emancipating one-third of slaves whose numbers allow division into thirds but whose values differ, yet can be balanced by value?

Primary text
If the value of the slaves can be adjusted to form three equal parts in both number and value, this adjustment must be made as in the first case. For instance, if there are six slaves with values of 3000, 2000, and 1000, they are grouped into three parts of equal value. If the values are unequal, Ahmad stated they must be appraised by price. This adjustment is necessary so that the draw results in exactly one-third being freed.
