Primary text
Emancipation does not occur upon partial fulfillment of a condition requiring a total amount (like paying part of one thousand). All scholarly conditions (*shurut al-ahkam*) must be fulfilled completely for the ruling to be established. If the condition involves a quantified description (like paying a specific amount), the ruling is not established until the entirety of that quantified description is met.

A differing opinion related to oaths (saying 'I will not do X') suggests that performing part of the action might constitute breaking the oath if the language permits interpreting the intent as preventing any part of the action. However, in the case of conditional emancipation dependent upon performance, the established legal standard requires full performance before the suspended outcome takes effect.
