Does inheritance (Mīrāth) fall under the arrangement of Al-Muhaya'ah, and does the master have any claim to it?

Inheritance does not fall under the arrangement of Al-Muhaya'ah, and the master acquires no right to it. This is because the slave inherits only through his free portion. This slave, through his free portion, owns all types of ownership and inherits and is inherited from according to the measure of freedom he possesses.
