If the mother and child are gifted or bequeathed to the husband and son, and both parties accept the grant at the same time, the ruling is the same as in the purchase scenario: the son's share of the mother is emancipated, the emancipation extends to the husband's share requiring compensation from him, and the unborn child is emancipated by both jointly.
