What is the ruling when a person claims someone older than them is their child, or someone younger than them is their parent?

If a man states to his older wife, 'This is my daughter,' or states to her when he is older, 'This is my mother,' the divorce (talaq) is not effected. The same principle applies to patrilineal claims that are clearly false based on age disparity.
