What is the ruling regarding the emancipation of a child born after the condition for the mother's freedom was suspended, if the birth occurs before the condition is fulfilled?

Primary text
If the female slave becomes pregnant after the condition for her emancipation is set, and she gives birth before the condition is met, and the condition is subsequently met, the child is not freed. This is because the condition for emancipation did not apply to the child either at the time the condition was set or at the time emancipation took effect.
Supporting text
There is an alternative view suggesting that the child follows the mother in emancipation, by analogy with the child of a *mudabbara* (a slave designated for future freedom upon the master's death).
