Primary text
If two individuals testify that the master freed his slave, and their testimony is subsequently rejected, yet one or both of them purchase the slave, the slave is freed. This view is supported by Al-Awza'i, Malik, Al-Shafi'i, and Ibn Al-Mundhir, aligning with the قياس (analogy) of Abu Hanifa's position. No Wala' is established for the purchaser or the seller in this scenario due to denial or lack of claim.
