Can a guardian other than the father divorce the wife of the person under his guardianship?

No one other than the father possesses the authority to divorce the wife of an individual under guardianship (*mawla alayhi*), regardless of whether that guardian has the right to contract marriage (like a father's executor or the judge, according to the opinion of Ibn Hamid) or not. There is no known disagreement on this matter.
