What happens if the free woman converts to Islam while the slave women do not?

If the free woman converts to Islam while the slave women do not, her marriage remains established, and the bond with the slave women is severed. If the slave women do not convert before their waiting periods expire, separation occurs due to the difference in religion, and their waiting periods commence from the time the free woman converted. If they convert within that waiting period, their right to their previous marriage bond dates from the free woman's conversion, and their waiting periods count from that moment. If the free woman dies after her conversion, the ruling concerning the slave women remains unchanged because her death occurs after the validity of her marriage was established and the marriages to the slave women were nullified.
