Is it permissible for a guardian to marry his ward to a female slave (amah)?

It is not permissible for the guardian to marry his ward to a female slave because the permissibility of such a union is conditional upon the fear of falling into unlawful sexual relations (al-'anat), which is absent in the case of a minor, though not necessarily absent in the case of an insane person.
