It is permissible to possess two sisters concurrently, without any scholarly disagreement. This permission extends to owning a woman and her paternal aunt (ammah) or maternal aunt (khalah) at the same time. If a man purchases a female slave (*jariyah*) and consummates relations with her, it remains lawful for him to purchase her sister, her paternal aunt, or her maternal aunt. This is because ownership (*milk*) is primarily intended for wealth accumulation, not sexual enjoyment.
