Is a marriage contract valid if a free person (not in Ihram) contracts a marriage on behalf of a person in Ihram, or contracts a marriage to a woman prohibited to the person in Ihram?

Primary text
If a valid person (not in Ihram) contracts a marriage on behalf of a person in Ihram—whether as an agent or guardian—or contracts a marriage to a woman who is forbidden (Muharramah) to the person in Ihram, the contract is invalid. This falls under the general prohibition of the hadith, as the agent's action of marrying is considered as if the person in Ihram himself married.
