What is the ruling on a female who has reached an age fit for marriage, such as age nine?

Primary text
If a female reaches an age fit for marriage, such as age nine, her *awrah* (private parts) differs from that of a mature woman. This is evidenced by the Prophet's statement: "Allah does not accept the prayer of a menstruating woman (*Haid*) unless she covers her head," which indicates that the prayer of one who has not menstruated is valid even if her head is uncovered. Therefore, her ruling may be analogous to that of close female relatives (*dawat al-mahram*), similar to the ruling concerning an adolescent boy among women.
