If the husband is permitted to marry a female slave but contracts the marriage without the master's consent or via other means that invalidate the marriage, the same rules pertaining to invalidity apply.

If consummation occurs in such a case, the husband is liable for the Mahr, with the differing opinions on whether the stipulated amount or the customary dower is due remaining relevant.
