What is the ruling on the marriage if a Kitabiyyah wife converts to Islam before consummation of the marriage?

If a Kitabiyyah wife converts to Islam before consummation, the marriage is immediately dissolved, whether her husband was a Kitabi or not. This is because it is impermissible for a disbelieving man to be married to a Muslim woman. All scholars whose opinions we know of agree upon this.
