What is the ruling regarding the dower/mahr if the marriage was contracted with a specified amount that is invalid (haram) or if the marriage is dissolved before consummation due to conversion?

If a marriage was contracted but not consummated, and then separation occurs due to conversion before consummation, each wife is entitled to half of what was specified for her if that specified amount was valid (halal). If the specified amount was invalid (haram), she is entitled to half of her customary dower (mahr al-mithl).
