What is the ruling regarding the time limit imposed on a man unable to perform intercourse due to a temporary condition?
Chapter on the Term for the Impotent and the Castrated who is not amputated

Primary text
If a man's inability to perform intercourse (wad') is due to a temporary impediment, such as youthfulness or an illness with an expected recovery, no time limit is set for him. This is because the cause is transient and will cease. The evidence for establishing specific time limits applies to inherent, permanent conditions (like congenital impotency, 'unnah), not temporary ones.
